Review: First Star I See Tonight

First Star I See Tonight

Star quarterback, sassy detective, steamy romance.

Piper trying to be best detective in Chicago and trailing Stars QB turned entrepreneur Cooper Graham for a client. The job is make or break for Piper and when she gets caught, she reveals herself as a mildly unhinged stalker to protect her client.

She gets caught, reveals herself as a mildly unhinged stalker protect her client and ends up working for him, investigating suspicious activity in his exclusive nightclub. Together, they dodge attempts on his life. Or hers? Evade a neighboring teen with a Nerf gun and help free a sex slave in a series of adventures that leads to true love.

And that’s why I love Susan Elizabeth Phillips. In all romance novels, the woman gets the guy. In her novels, the woman gets the guy, helps a teen earn self esteem and saves a woman from sex trafficking. All while doing her job!
